- Is the Arludo student app really free?
- Completely. Every game, lesson, challenge, and video is free for every student, with no accounts and no data collected. That never changes — even if a teacher never subscribes, even if they cancel. Students never lose access, ever.
- How much does Arludo cost for teachers?
- The Science Portal costs $140 AUD per teacher per year for an individual teacher (about $2.70 a week), $126 per teacher for 2–3 teachers from the same school, $119 per teacher for departments of 4 or more, and $109 per teacher for whole-school licences (minimum 10 teachers). Every plan includes unlimited students and is billed annually.
- How does the free trial work?
- Sign up with your school email — no credit card. You get 30 days of full access on your own, and the moment a second teacher from your school joins, everyone's trial becomes 90 days (a full term) with the same end date. Three or more teachers also get a free one-hour PD session. Trials that would expire over the summer break extend to week 3 of Term 1.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Your students keep everything. You lose the Science Portal: topic control, class analytics, worksheets, and reports. Subscribe any time to switch it back on — your class data is kept for 12 months.
- Why is billing annual?
- Because that's how schools plan and budget. One invoice, and every licence in a school renews on the same date. For an individual teacher, $140 a year works out to about $2.70 a week.
- Can my school get one invoice for everyone?
- Yes. Team, Department, and Whole School plans are billed centrally with a single invoice, and Whole School adds school-wide reporting and a dedicated onboarding session.
- What does Arludo cost for families?
- The Family plan is $17 AUD per month or $140 per year for the whole household — unlimited children — after a 30-day free trial. It gives parents the Science Portal: see what your child is discovering, set topics, track progress, and get weekly dinner-table questions.
